The National Byway is divided into ten regions. Six of these are now fully operational with maps published, the others are in various stages of development. The six completed regions are:

NORTH-EAST ENGLAND
YORKSHIRE
EAST MIDLANDS
WEST MIDLANDS
SOUTH-WEST ENGLAND (PART)
